(More customer reviews)To be precise what I've got is NEC MultiSync LCD2490WUXi.
I upgraded to this monitor from Apple Cinema HD Display (the three-legged one with wide frame) about a year and a half ago. The main contender was a newer Apple 24-inch monitor, and should they have had a matte version I would've bought one without thinking too much as I am really into Mac stuff (I am using this monitor with my MacBook Pro). But I hate glossy screens so I started looking around and found this model. According to the reviews and answers to my questions that I posted on some forums, it seemed to be one of the best monitors for the money and something one would buy if he or she is a professional photographer, designers, etc.
Honestly, I have been mostly using it for common office tasks and occasionally viewing my photos and videos as well as online TV programs. Thus I don't think I can give an adequate review of this monitor and I just would recommending considering it - if you dig around there is a lot of info that you can find (this is what I did). It is definitely an improvement over my previous Apple Cinema screen and I think I did the right thing buying it - it's a real joy to have this thing in front of your eyes every day for many hours. But I paid about $800 for this thing refurbished, so it is not cheap, but if you can get this kind of deal I'd say it is totally worth it!
