(More customer reviews)This is preliminary as I do NOT own any of these (0B23909) 600GB HDD. Review is purely based on experience with the previous version(C10k300).
These are the newer version of the Hitachi c10k300 and as such have slightly better spec's. The 600GB is a great improvement but best is that the price point is (well) under a buck per GB of realized storage space. Hitachi is on the right track: Smaller physical and environmental footprint, larger storage, faster and yet lower priced per GB of realized storage(600GB * 0.925 = 555GB is the approx. realized space after formatting, ...etc.).
I have been running four of the c10k300 for over a year, 24/7 and have no complaints. I have no reason to believe that these are not just as good (prbly better).
