(More customer reviews)This Xeon does everything that the Quad Core Desktop processor doesn't it replaced. Let me tell you folks, if you put a Q6600 G0 stepping and this X3380 side by side, the clocks might look identical but you add the work load and the Xeon will leave the Q6600 in the dust. I know that was a runon from you know where but you get the picture! Buy this Processor you will not regret it!! Runs VM Ware Workstation 7 or ESX 4.0 like a champ. Multithreaded applications will bow down to the 12Mb of cache and 1333Mhz bus. I am currently just running it on a ASUS Maximus Formula II with 8gig of Patriot Viper memory. AWESOME!!!!
