(More customer reviews)Let me first say that I own an Olympus system with two E-3, and several HG lenses. I also have the excellent 14-54 and 50-200 SWD lenses. I bought the E-PL1 with the two lens kit (14-42 and 40-150) to supplement my "big" system to take along on hikes. The complete kit with both lenses weigh about as much as just the E-3 body and the image quality is about on par.
This 40-150 lens is a jewel. It is very light and very sharp if used at f5.6. It compares extremely well with its big brother (50-200), except in contrast which I can correct with software. It matches the E-PL series cameras very well in size and weight and with the 14-42 makes a perfect travel companion, especially for hiking.
