(More customer reviews)Purchased this unit without hard drives installed. Purchased two Western Digital (Green) 2TB drives and installed. Very easy to do, good instructions included if needed. I purchased this unit to use as a media server for video, music, and pictures. I use the 209+ to store some high definition video for play back also. The unit is fast enough to serve high definition video via wired home (gigabit) network. This NAS comes with a lot of other software to use as web server, print server . . I have not used. Price is now lower than when I purchased. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fast quality media server.
