(More customer reviews)Great laptop for a $400-500 computer. I got mine for $430 after two big rebates at Staples. It was the last one in stock with that sale and I left thinking I had a deal. I did... I am a total power-using audio producer who uses programs like FL Studio and SoundForge and I do recordings and all that through this cheap ass computer and good audio interface. For a typical computer user who just wants to check their emails and download mp3s and movies and stuff, this is gall you need. Vista will seem more secure than XP for some people. I have less issues with malware and junk. It comes with an HDMI so you can hook it up to a widescreen hd tv. I tested it on a 40-inch Sony and it covered like 75% screen but with great clarity. I would spend no more than $500 new on this tho.
Cons:
Windows Vista takes getting used to but I know the angles so its fine for me.
Cannot upgrade beyond the included 3 gigs of RAM.
Sometimes the screen will appear too glossy and almost like a mirror and especially when outside.
No Firewire and ALL ports are on the side not back.
These cons are not that bad and they do not pertain to anything all that important
