(More customer reviews)I personally own a Thinkpad T61 and my brother has a T60. I use my T61 hours on end each day to run my online business. Lenovo has not dropped the ball, but has continued where I.B.M. left off. My T61 is solid as a tank, and has proven itself reliable for almost a year now. My brother is also in love with his T60. Sound, graphics, speed while multi-tasking with 10 Firefox windows open at once (mine has 2GB memory), Microsoft Office document open and Music Video playing in the background is a breeze. I can honestly say that I've had no major problems with this laptop such as freezing, overheating, blue screens, sudden shutdown- everything's running smoothly for me. Those are all problems I experienced with an HP laptop I had before my T61. A word of Wisdom- these T61's shipped with Windows Vista which had many glitches and caused such problems. I have Windows 7 running smoothly on mine or else you can downgrade to good old reliable Windows XP. One last thing I love is how you can grab the laptop by the front fingerprint area where the hard drive is and lift it up. It feels solid as a rock and you're not afraid the hard drive will be damaged. Let's continue to put pressure on Lenovo to honor the Thinkpad tradition of producing solid I.nternational B.usiness M.achines.
