It can be used anywhere and only has one cord keeping the space clutter free and clean. (More customer reviews)I have two of these now and they have been working great. This kit includes all the cables. When I added the second switch I lost one of the ports since I connected them together. The only problems I have encountered is when I restart some of my older PowerPC Macs the screen will not show. I have to then disconnect it and use a spare monitor to adjust the video resolution down for it to work again with the switch. This is very annoying, but has only happened with the two older Macs. Also, the blue power LED is very bright.
