Purepower Rx 600W Review

What more could someone want in a power supply? It has all the power one would most likely ever need in a power supply. It has the modularized cable management, so you only have the cables you need in your case, making for a nice clean look. The under the hood big plus is the fact that it's got the PFC (Power Factor Correction), it's a major plus if you understand how dirty the power from the average wall socket can be, with the power spikes and dips. I've had my Purepower now for a couple months and its been great.
Next time when I upgrade my computer my power supply will be ready for it.

Swiftech H20-220 Ultima XT CPU liquid cooling kit Review

Swiftech H20-220 Ultima XT CPU liquid cooling kit
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This watercooling system is perfect for the gamer who is thinking about an alternative method of cooling, while keeping sound down to a minimum, and adding a touch of charisma to your gaming rig. The radiator size (120mmx2) can easily accomodate additions to the loop, like a northbridge cooler, or a video card cooler; maybe even 2 video card coolers. However, you may want to invest in some extra tubing of the same diameter, and some extra fittings.
I suggest aluminum barb fittings for this type of tubing, because if you have to disconnect it for any reason, the plastic doesnt play nice, and you risk damaging the plastic. Also, invest in a larger reservoir if you plan on cooling more components, and maybe some high grade coolant.
BE ADVISED: AUTOMOTIVE RADIATOR FLUID DOES WORK, BUT MIXING IT WITH OTHER ADDITIVES IS NOT SMART. YOU CAN CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO YOUR RIG BECAUSE OF THE HEAT EXCHANGE AND CAN CAUSE SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION. KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING AND DO RESEARCH.
Oh, and another thing...this is essential for overclocking your processor. I've seen high speeds reached on air cooling, and with the proper parameters, this is the next logical step. ANOTHER DISCLAIMER: OVERCLOCKING VOIDS WARRANTIES. DON'T TRY TO OVERCLOCK YOUR DELL, AND IF YOU OVERCLOCK YOUR INTEL EXTREME EDITION CPU, I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU FRY IT. With that said, i reached 4.4Ghz using an Intel Core i7 965 Extreme Edition CPU. By special order, you can get the 1366 bracket for this kit if it didnt come in the package. There definitely a lot of cooling power.
My only peeve is that the Reservoir is too small. I'm going to upgrade my reservoir in a couple months when i add a couple more cooling blocks to the loop.
All in all, good kit. No one should be disappointed, and the price is good for a kit that could get you started on building/upgrading your watercooling system.

Logicube Echo Plus - Hard drive duplicator ( IDE / SATA ) Review

Logicube Echo Plus - Hard drive duplicator ( IDE / SATA )
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We use this device to speed up image deployment- with the help of the Windows Automated Installation Kit, we constructed and generalized a standard image. This image is cloned with the Logicube and we are able to reduce the configuration/deployment time to about 15 minutes total by eliminating the time spent copying files from a DVD or flash drive. The Logicube will copy to a standard SATA disk at about 2.5GB/sec. Add to that the time it will take to scan both disks, power them up, error check, etc. This device clones a standard windows 7 install (12-15GB with installed software)in about 5 minutes on clever mode.
The Logicube also comes in handy with touchy, older equipment. When I start to see signs of drive failures- bad sectors, failing SMART tests, etc. I simply clone the old drive to a new one, run CHKDSK, and begin using the new disk.
I also use the device to blank drives before disposal, by doing a block level copy of a virgin disk.
This device is by far the easiest to use and most dependable I have used- my average interaction with it consists of pushing the "start|stop" button once to wake it up, once to start the copy.
Money well spent!

Silverstone has a reputation for providing quality and long lasting products from coolers, cases to power supplies. The Silverstone Strider Gold 1000W Power supply is bar none the best option around. It supports 4 - 4 pin PCI adapters for (recommended) 2 way SLI. If you need more you may want to find a 3 or 4 way Certified SLI or CrossfireX Power Supply. This keeps a higher efficiency then most power supplies in its class while retaining a cool and quiet work load.
The only thing I could say that may bug some people is it has no killswitch at the back.... which does kinda make certain things like a bad overclock or whatever a tad more difficult to fix but all you do is just unplug the power and the PSU will just shut down.
Overall this is a fantastic product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for high output power supplies

Dh 101 Htpc Case Review

Dh 101 Htpc Case
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This HTPC Case is very well designed, unlike others it has enough room for putting together a decent computer. Depending on your motherboard layout, it might possible to fit a 10.5" long video card and keep the HDD cage with two hard drives, it worked with my ASUS P5K-Deluxe, but it didn't with my P7P55D-E DELUXE. It also comes with two internal 5.25" drive bays, if you have a mATX motherboard you can adapt those to fit two hard drives more, if your motherboard is an ATX you would be able to adapt just one.
On the other hand, the IR reception is really bad and the response time not very good. The screen is too bright, it can be adjusted but you won't get it looking like in the pictures on the internet. Using the remote to manage the PC is kind of complicated but you can get use to it. No complains on the IMEDIAN software, it is as good as the Windows Media Center, except maybe for some minor details. The cooling system is ok, but if you already have cooling issues, this case will not solve your problems. Even when the LCD wasn't what I expected it comes with some nice features that makes worth it.
Great Build Quality, I recommend it.

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1350W Power Supply is designed with high quality and high performance in mind.
For those that like to push their computers to the limits.
My Windows computer, that I also use for powerful 3D games, had dual Geforce 295 video cards (2 GPU's each), for 4 GPU's total, and Quad-SLI.
Along with the Intel Core i7 quad core CPU, this system can be quite demanding on the power supply.
I needed a power supply powerful enough for today, and the future.
Once I got this power supply, I upgraded to the latest Motherboard, Asus Rampage III Extreme, the Intel Core i7 Extreme 980X six-core CPU, and dual Geforce 580 video cards.
The power supply handles this easily.
It also has modular cable, with enough connector for 4 powerful video cards, several hard drives, optical drives, etc.
Overall, it's a great power supply, with high efficiency, and 5 year warranty.

This thing is BIG. Make sure your configuration has ample room for this big boy. I put it in a Thermaltake Armor LCS full-tower case and had to remove the top exhaust fan to make room for it.
Modular power supply is the way to go. No more ugly, bundled up, unused cables clogging up the case. I just wish the atx and cpu power cables were modular too. Those cables are hard-wired to the PSU. No big deal though.
Thermaltake is a name you can trust. These guys make quality products. I also use their PC cases, water cooling products, and fans in addition to their power supplies. I have never had a problem with a Thermaltake PSU and I have owned 4 of them. Always reliable.
This thing is surprisingly quiet considering it's size. I have some extremely quiet case fans installed and they are louder than the PSU.
This unit is powering an Asus P5K3 mobo, 2GB DDR3 PC10666 RAM, core2duo E6850 processor, HIS Radeon HD 2900XT 1GB DDR4, X-fi Elite Pro sound, 2x WD Raptor X 150GB, Lite-On DVD Burner, Thermaltake water pump, Zalman Fan Controller, and a load of fans and lights. TONS of power left over. Will be upgrading to crossfire setup w/ dual Radeon HD 2900 XT's in the future. This PSU will handle anything you can throw at it with plenty of voltage to spare.
Great PSU. I have no regrets and I don't see any cons to getting this product. The price is pretty steep, but you gotta figure this is the biggest baddest PSU on the market and it will keep up with PC advancements for quite a while.

LUXA2 LVA30052N1Z Aluminum LM300 7-Inch Touch Screen Pro ATX , Micro ATX, Mini ITX Media Center /HTPC Case (Black/Silver)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Before I get into detail, let me first say the 5 star overall rating I gave this is based on pros and cons compared to other so called "HTPC" cases. This is the only case I've come across that in the end does not look like a computer. It is VERY aesthetically pleasing, pictures online do not do it justice. It is also, by far, the most solid construction I have ever seen in a computer case. This case is built so solid, I am confident it will be with me for the rest of my life. These things were important to me above other factors such as an included cable, which I can just replace. There are however some things that could be improved. Now on to the Attributes I rated.
Construction Quality - Solid as a rock. The exterior and top panels are all made of 5 millimeter thick aluminum. Not only is this strong, but it goes a long way in keeping the computer quiet. By being so thick the panels do not resonate. The side and front silver colored panels are bead blasted for a matte finish. The top panel is uncolored brushed Aluminum. The black panel in the front is also brushed Aluminum, however it has been anodized. The bottom plate appears to be a heavy gauge stamped steel with a black finish. There are 4 rubber feet to support the case. The optical tray cover and memory card reader cover are both heavy Aluminum and open and close slowly and accurately. Nothing on this case rattles.
Ventilation and cooling - Cooling is sufficient for what this case is intended for, but a few revisions could be made in my opinion. There are no intake fans on this case, and a single 120mm rear exhaust is the only thing moving air. A good power supply with a 140mm fan built in such as the Corsair TX Series really helps. I saw in a video review that you can fit the tallest of CPU cooling solutions in the case. That is true, but only if you don't install an optical drive. My blue ray drive hit the fins on my Thermalake V1 Cpu Cooler. Certainly no 140mm cooling solutions will fit, and I'm not sure how many if any, 120mm solutions would fit. On a positive note the stock CPU cooler is suffice, keeping the CPU around 39ºC(Max for Intel Core 2 Quad/ i7 is 100ºC, your cpu may differ). If you install a basic Graphics card the ventilation is good enough. If you are like me and have a very high end GPU it will not be. I plan to water cool the case because of this which leads me to a negative. There are no provisions for running water lines out of the case. It can be done, but will need custom work. There is enough room under the drive tray for a crafty individual to install 2 120mm fans. I plan on putting 2 800 RPM fans to circulate air over my drives and move hot, stagnant GPU air around the case to be exhausted.
Hard Drive/Expansion - Luxa2 provides provisions for only two hard drives. Other HTPC cases offer provisions for the installation of 4-6. Personally this is not a downfall for me, as I prefer to keep my mass storage in separate housings. This is so they are not being powered on every time I am on the computer, and so they are not exposed to any more heat then necessary. A crafty individual could however fit more drives if they chose to. A third drive cold be fit by screwing two short lengths of aluminum angle stock on the bottom right side of the drive tray, directly under the hard drive and in front of the power supply. There are a number of places to tuck away an SSD as well. If one used an SSD for the operating system and tucked it in front of the power supply, you could still fit two 2 terabyte drives in the spaces provided. The case fits up to standard ATX motherboards, and has seven expansion slots. One is dedicated to pass through the touch screen VGA connector. There is enough room for the largest of graphics cards, as I had no problem fitting my VisionTek Radeon HD4870x2(which I will be water cooling). I also could easily fit my Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3 Deluxe Sound Card which is as big as many video cards.
Included Accessories - All of the provided cables to connect the case to the mother board are approximately twice as long as they need to be. This makes cable management harder then it needs to be. The front panel audio conector splits off at the end to provide connections for HD audio and the Legacy(outdated) AC'97. No one uses AC'97, so one less loose connector would be nice. I will be customizing or purchasing new connectors all around to fix this, however it should have been provided at this price. The mess of wires it creates impedes what little airflow there is.
Peripherals - The touch screen is of higher quality than I expected. With just a few tweaks to the GPU settings the screen has good contrast, and can be seen at any angle I've looked at it from. More importantly the touch screen is perfectly functional. The Volume knob makes clicking sounds when turned. It sounds "cheap". Most won't be using the knob or front controls often however because of the remote. The remote is not the best layout, but it does work as both mouse and keyboard. It took me a week to get used to, but its fun to use now. If you are not happy with the remote, there is an Infrared sensor on the front of the case, and other Media Center compatible remotes should also work. The power button is a dull white LED light, not distracting at all. There is one bright blue led behind the lower panel, however when it is closed you can not see it at all. The iMon software is more useful than other reviews would have me believe. Its navigation can seem confusing or backwards at times, but no more or less than other media center front ends. Like anything you just have to get accustomed to the controls. I do suggest not using the software they provide and going straight to Soundgraph's support page to download the newest version, otherwise it will prompt you to update right after installing.
Overall I'm very happy with the case. I know my 5 star overall may not coincide with the breakdown ratings, but every other case has its downfalls as well. Compared to other cases I considered, this one just stands apart from the rest. I feel good when I look at it, and I use the touch screen to play music (more than I thought I would)without having to turn my TV on. The best part is that it doesn't *look* like a computer. My friends have seen it and said "Hey, whats that?" They knew it was part of my theater, but had no idea it was a PC. Other cases just look like boxes, and don't use as thick of metal throughout. It looks like it belongs next to high end stereo/theater equipment, isn't that the idea? Hopefully this helps answer some questions some may have about this!

I purchased this for a full ITX MB and it fit great. The case is big, but no bigger than a typical AVR. Cooling is ample and the front display "IMON" is a really cool feature. It displays whatever you want it too and comes with software to easily customize. I will scrool your movie title, PC specs etc..The built in IR worked out of the box with my Logitech Harmony One remote. My only gripe is that the retention brackets for PCi and PCI E cards are cheapo! I dont use them anymore due to previous issues with cards not seating right, but when I did attempt to use one it snapped right off with out much pressure!
Why did I give it a 5 even with the bracket breaking?
This case's front power LED connector is a 2 pin style connector while my MB has 3 pin. Thermaltake is very good about supplying all you would need but did no provide an adapter. I emailed thermaltake to point this out got a very quick response and considered my suggestion. They also mailed me an adapter at no cost to me. The customer support was fast, helpful, and refreshing. I would reccomend this case to anyone.

I ordered the spelling mistake (Thermltake) case (they forgot the "a"), that's why it doesn't show me as a verified buyer from Amazon for this one.PROS:
Hinged door absolutely owns. I love that the fan attached to it does not have a wire running across my case that has to be unplugged. Also, the door comes off the hinges if you want to remove it.

The hot swap bays are sweet. They have a sata power strip ran to each one with 1 connector at the end in which you plug your single sata power cable into. Running 1 power connector instead of 5 is awesome. You need to buy 5 sata cables though. They are not included. I purchased 5 angled ones.
The 3 200mm color changing fans are relatively quiet on the high setting and the various color changing options you can do with them is a nice added bonus. You can have your very own disco show going on if you want.
The cable management is by far the best I have ever encountered. So many ways to hide & route the cables. Even included some reusable ties.
The dust fan guards are removable within 2 seconds. No more taking things apart to clean them. Very nice.
All the case wiring is very long. This includes the front audio, power switch, hdd, usb headers etc. So long in fact, I am now able to use my front audio for the first time in 5 years. All the wiring is black in color if it matters.
The transparent window is actually bigger than it looks which is a plus.
The 2 locks on the case are a nice touch. Just an FYI, they both come locked so don't try to force open the hdd bays without unlocking first =)
The case ascetically speaking is beautiful. In my opinion, better than the expensive Level 10. CONS:
Does not fit with the Corsair H50 water cooler when combined with Push/Pull config when mounted on the back. This is only for the people that add an additional fan to the H50, not a stock H50. If you have an H50 right out of the box, you are 100% fine. The problem is that the second fan hits the waterblock and doesn't allow you to push the motherboard back into the slot. Misses by like 1 inch. I have a Gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r but I expect all will be in the same boat. The H70 would not have a problem since the waterblock is more flat. My solution was to just use the 1 fan instead. Also, Thermaltake includes a 120mm fan on the back of the case that has to be removed obviously to fit the H50's 80mm fan. Not really a con as they provided the screw holes for an 80mm fan.
The bottom fan slot only allows you to install an 80mm fan, nothing else.
The single power connector that powers all the fans is total garbage. It feels like it's going to break apart when you plug in the power for it. It has to be the single cheapest thing about the case.
If you shut your computer off, the fans default to low speed & blue when you turn it on again. That means when you have use the button to set it to high and whatever color you wanted every time if you didn't like the default. Also, if you happen to open the door while the case is on, the side fan only defaults back to blue. Anyways, that's another 3 second "fix" but no biggie.
The USB 3.0 that it advertises forces you to use their usb cables and plug them into your motherboards back USB ports (these are actual USB cables just like you get for a printer) not the onboard rectangle ones that usually plug into the motherboard at the bottom. The cables they give you are long enough and route through one of the 3 watercooling tubing holes in the back of the case. Now, you just lost 2 3.0 connectors on the back. So if you only had 2 for your motherboard like me, now you only have USB 3.0 via the cases top 2 ports if you so choose. Notice you don't see the cables I'm talking about in the 18 pictures. Also, the 3.0 ports on the top of the case feel like you are going to rip them out when you plug/unplug a flash drive (or anything else) in. You have to use some force to plug in/remove the drive whereas the front 4x 2.0 USB's are easy.
Good luck installing a cd-rom or anything in the 5.25 bays. You remove the clip from the front to install a drive. Takes like 3 seconds to install and click into place. So what's the problem with a 3 second install? Only one side clicks, that being the back panel (not the hinged door side). What that means is that the cd rom moves a little bit when you press the eject button. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get to the right hand side, removed a bunch of screws and gave up. I didn't want to snap anything. I ended up using 2 screws on the side that clicked (they have screw holes also) and all is well. So for anyone else, remove the front tab, slide your drive in. When it clicks, just put 2 screws into the mounting holes. You will have the drive fully installed in under 20 seconds.
WISHES:
Wish it came with wheels instead of the legs.
Wish the top bar handle/front strip wasn't red. Maybe something that color changed (neon lights?) like the fans. Obviously the cost would go up though. I'm sure someone will mod it in the future.
OVERALL:
This is the best case I have ever owned and worked with. If you are deciding between this or the Corsair 800D, get this case. The hinged door alone makes it worth it. I gave this case 5 stars even with the quirks from my cons section. That's how happy I am with it.

Average Reviews:

There's no denying that this case is chiefly for looks, but like any decorative item, that's the main purpose it serves. It's not meant to win overclocking competitions, nor be the best at air-cooling; it's probably just average in those respects (and so far, I've only seen one site that actually checked out this case's thermal properties; it won some and lost some). I really like this different look; computer cases have been such boring boxes for so long, that on an almost altruistic level, I don't mind "voting" some dollars in this direction, to encourage companies to do more to deliver interesting and unusual, decorative and evolving designs.
On the good side:
(1) It's made of something called "extruded" aluminum, and is highly scratch-resistant.
(2) It's fairly quiet.
(3) The right side provides AMPLE room for stowing cable excess without much fuss (so opposite of most other cases, where one build's cable management can be an all-day ordeal).
(4) The motherboard tray (or just the CPU cooler together with its backplate) are easily removed.
(5) There are 8 PCI slots, allowing you to use that 7th PCI slot on your motherboard for a double-width GPU.
(6) It accommodates larger motherboards than are officially listed; it has no problem with an EVGA Classified 759/760, or the CEB form factor of my Asus P6T7.
On the bad side:
(1) There are no pre-cut holes for liquid-cooling tubing; you'll either have to drill them yourself (under the rear exhaust fan seems the ideal place) or use that 8th PCI slot to allow them out. Mounting a pump inside will require some ingenuity - such as placing it in the forward ceiling of the motherboard area's cover. Instead, one of those complete external liquid-cooling systems (pump, rad & reservoir all entirely outside the case) may need to be considered if you want to use liquid with this bit of eye candy.
(2) The PSU holder is too small for a lot of the top-level enthusiast PSUs (e.g. the SilverStone Strider 1500W or the Koolance 1300W). Contrary to what one reviewer reported at another site, the case is not able to accommodate PSUs of excess length (when I read that I thought I'd be able to simply have the excess sticking out of the back of the PSU holder, before I bought this case - but that isn't possible).
(3) The CPU cooler isn't supposed to be taller than 150mm (and therefore many of the top-level air coolers will be excluded, although my Prolimatech Megahalems seems to be OK, at 156mm). The motherboard cover should therefore be wider.
(4) Those neat red HDD LEDs don't light up if you're using 2.5" drives - they only work with 3.5" drives.
(5) The requirement that cables pass from the point of origin, to the right chamber, and then back out to their destination - means that some cables will be too short, and extensions or adapters are sometimes needed. ThermalTake should provide them in the box, at this price point.
(6) That band of red light on the top and front is actually only lit by LEDs at its ends. They don't light the entire strip, and it actually ends up looking like you have several areas where your LEDs must have burned out (but there were never supposed to be any in those places to begin with). Besides, this should be available in different colors, to order.
(7) As big and heavy as this case already is, it's still too small to accommodate that latest uber-motherboard from EVGA (the Classified 762, which requires 10 PCI slots). Therefore, the motherboard cover should be not only wider, but the whole thing should be taller - enough to have 10-11 PCI slots!
(8) The supplied two fans in the motherboard compartment are mid-quality at best; I'm replacing them straight away with quieter models that move more air.
BUT overall I'm pleased enough to keep it, and for now, every time I see this thing head-on in my office, I'm glad I bought it.

Thermaltake Level 10 Super-Gaming Modular Tower Chassis is the culmination of performance, design and innovation in computer chassis. The design allows gamers to experience the power of their high-end computers through the design itself. Iconic design combined with optimum functionality and innovative details. By rendering the inside components visible, the design focuses on the architectural aesthetics which are inherent in the computers and result from each individually configurable components. The inspiration for this approach which designers took right from the most basic form of computer itself - expressiveness, virtual townscapes and futuristic game components served as orientation for the arrangement and the look of individual components. For maximum thermal performance, the Level 10 adopted the similar aerodynamic criteria that can be rivaled by Formula 1 race cars. The exposed vertical heatsink with multiple layers symbolizes both the inherent power and excellent cooling qualities. Targeted ventilation is reached by an advanced airflow system with two separate thermal zones and individual fans preventing overheating and increases airflow to specific components as needed. The super-gaming tower is divided into 4 unique chambers, 5.25" devices, HDD devices, power supply and core components such as motherboard, CPU and graphic cards. HDD hot-swapped modules are integrated with a huge aluminum extrusion heatsink, the heat produced by the HDDs are effectively conducted to surrounding aluminum heatsink and therefore do not need additional fans to stay cool. The result is a highly efficient configuration that channels airflow to the maximum. All these appear within the overall design in the form of an open modular structure that is visually appealing to users, but offers them additional functional benefits at the same time.
