Although I bought my Cerise directly from the manufacturer, this is the finest computer I have ever owned. Though I use it exclusively for movie editing, the system renders mts (AVCHD) clips with ease, as well as other formats, and the problems I experienced from other slower computers (lock ups, quirky behavior) simply do not happen. I suppose part of the reason deals with added speed, quality parts, use of a 64 bit environment, and not burdening the system with McAfee (which slows everything down).
The front panel opens on a hinge, and for this reason hides the DVD trays, as well as the many types of input slots (I use SD cards from my camcorder), but there are lots of other input sources (ample USB slots, on the side, as well as on the back of the unit).
The technical support from Cerise has been wonderful.
To do video editing as the software designers would prefer it, you have to have a very good computer. Dollar for dollar, Cerise is your answer.

The Cerise Quad-Core Desktop is specifically built for photographers, videographers and multimedia power users. The optimum hard drive configuration for this class of user is one hard drive for the operating system and applications and a separate hard drive for multimedia editing and this is the configuration used here. The case is fitted with sound insulation and is virtually silent in operation. The computer case itself has a beautiful glossy black finish.
