(More customer reviews)The frame was extremely well packaged. Double boxed and everything was wrapped in foam so there we no dings or scratches. The screen was rolled in foam with a layer of paper to protect the screen surface then encased in a hard PVC tube. It is extremely unlikely the screen would arrive in less than pristine condition.
Except for hanging the screen on the wall, it was easily assembled by one person. The frame was a heavy gauge aluminum and very stiff. The corners were extremely sturdy and frame pieces fit together very tight. The assembly instructions are easily understood.
The screen material did not have any noticeable imperfections and was completely wrinkle free when mounted. One complaint, my screen was missing two plastic anchors for mounting the screen to the frame. I will contact the manufacturer tomorrow and ask for a few spares.
The frame was easily mounted to the wall and the brackets allow for easy left to right (horizontal) adjustment. The screen seems to be firmly attached to the wall.
This is my first projector screen. Previously I projected directly on a painted wall. (A painted wall works better than you might expect.) The new screen was worth the money that I spent. I checked several stores and the Elite screen costs significantly less than their competitors. The Elite screen is vastly superior to the painted wall; I wish I would have purchased this screen sooner. The ambient light in the room can be much brighter than was previously possible.
Finally, the movies look much better. Now that I have a screen, I like my projector more. The colors are rich and vibrant and dark scenes are more distinct than they ever were.
