(More customer reviews)This is the only SSD that I have experience with, but it has been a pretty good one so far. For starters, it is much faster than my laptop's old hard drive. I have noticed a dramatic improvement in battery life as well. I still get giddy with excitement every time I launch a program and it opens immediately. The boot time is also great. The only downside to this drive is that my laptop occasionally locks up when trying to resume from standby or hibernation. My laptop is a 15.4" MacBook Pro (2008 unibody). It only happens 1-2 times per week. For me, that's fine. The only thing I ever leave open is a browser, so I never lose anything because I can restore the open tabs pretty easily.
In all, I'm quite happy with the drive. It's fast (maybe not as fast as others), but it has MUCH greater storage capacity for a fraction of the price of other equivalent drives. For SSD on a budget, this is the drive to get.
