(More customer reviews)I bought this laptop to replace my hefty, built-like a brick, five-year-old Dell laptop that had been giving me problems. My main requirements for a new computer were that it had to be under 14", light, and be good with my everyday basics (email, photos, skype, CD/DVD player). This was the cheapest laptop that I could find that that still had a CD/DVD drive and was under 5 pounds so I bought it online, sight unseen. Overall, I'm very happy with this laptop! It is sleek, quick and has a built in video camera, microphone and xD photo card reader, which my old Dell did not have and let me get rid of a lot of cords.
My slight complains are: The touch pad is very sensitive and sometimes the mouse will jump all over the page or click on something with the slightest brush, even while typing. But the touch pad can easily be turned off and on to fix this. Also, the shiny surface surrounding the screen and keyboard and the exterior material are fingerprint magnets and it gets smudged fast! But those are not big complaints and I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
