As for the monitor, truly amazing. Set up was less than a minute, worked as soon I plugged it into my Dell Hybrid with no adjustments necessary.
The ring stand is not only aesthetically pleasing but works great. I have a very skinny desk and not only does the screen fit but so does my keyboard, whereas my previous 15" laptop didn't quite fit!
The angle is perfect for viewing, again no adjustment needed. Why buy Mac or any other monitor for that matter.. this thing is absolutely gorgeous and for only $200 and change.. you couldn't ask for more.. unbelievable quality and deal. This is my very first ASUS product purchase, will be buying from this manufacturer in the future.
