(More customer reviews)This is a great drive with a huge buffer 8 MB, which means you will never suffer from buffer underburn with unusable CD. It is so reliable. I have purchased this one only to replace my old reliable 4x Yamaha External SCSI writer that I have had for over 3 years. It was still working but too slow. This drive works perfect for me.
Only caveat, you need to make sure your USB port is USB2.0. Otherwise, you will only get 4x write speed with older USB1.x.
