(More customer reviews)The Intel SASMF8I raid controller is a high end way to organize and provide reliable back up for your hard drives on a home PC. I installed seven 750 gig hard drives to my home PC in a raid 5 configuration to stream movies throughout my home. I used the Vista Home Premium operating system and the raid controller picked up all the hard drives very easily. I tried this controller first using XP Professional. It didn't work because the max hard drive capacity that can be used with XP is 2 TB. I would recommend using this controller with the Kingwin KF-3000-BK. I am using 2 of these 3-bay Kingwins on my computer. Works perfectly! Good looking lights too!
