(More customer reviews)I bought this just before Christmas for almost $200 less than it is going for right now ($[...]), and for that price it is awesome. For $800 it is excellent, but maybe a little pricey. It's fast, Windows 7 is excellent, has a large HDD, plenty of RAM, dual core Processor, and a very nice screen. The person I gave it to as a gift LOVES the shiny shell, and the keyboard, but I don't like either of those features. I do love that it is a Toshiba since I am writing this review on a 4 year old Toshiba Satellite, and it is still running flawlessly after 4 hard years of (ab)use. The only actual flaw this laptop has is that the speakers are HORRENDOUS! I mean absolutely horrible! Pointless even. I had to buy a separate set to plug into the headphone jack in order to hear anything. And I thought the speakers on my old Toshiba were bad!
I have even contacted Toshiba about the uselessness of these speakers; but they have yet to respond.
