Any way, it doesn't run much hotter than my 8800 GTS 640s did inside my CM Stacker 850, however I am running the 470 in a HAF X with a fan blowing directly to the card. Not sure how much of a difference that makes between the cases. My temps are 10-20 degrees cooler than a lot of sites like Toms and BitTech have been getting as well. Maybe I got lucky and I won't know until I buy the 2nd card later this year...
It plays everything I need it to play, and honestly with this card my OC'd Q6700 is now my bottle neck so I'll have to upgrade to a 1336 board and CP before going SLI. As I said in the title, once these drop to around 200-245 or so they will be a great deal. In the meantime I suppose if you want a guaranteed cool good running NVIDIA card go with the 460 (NOT 465)
