(More customer reviews)I am purchasing this one because I have been borrowing the same exact one from a friend. My sons dog scratched the inside bottom case where the lights for hard drive are, also scratched off 3 keys. then they chewed them.... but I love this laptop. Its got really nice features! You can determine your power usage, you can choose how you want it to behave when closing it, and the touchpad works well. I just wish HE hadnt uninstalled the "synaptics" pointing drivers, the little slide on the side of the touchpad doesnt navigate up and down the page without it!
I have never used the lightscribe feature, but if you get the special disks it will laser etch them, I have seen them used before, and they come out very nice.
Out of about 20 different laptops I have used this was "the one".
I had one of these from a rental place with Windows 7 on it, that is what I am going to do once he accepts the replacement!
It has a HDMI output, so you can use it to play DVDs to a big-screen tv!
we did with my friends 60" and it was beautiful 1080p!!!
