This has got to be one of the best netbooks ever, for the price. I got it from J&R (also one of the best companies to buy from) and have been enjoying it since. I had a Toshiba Mini NB305 (which is the netbook a lot of reviews compare with to the HP Mini 210) and thought it was "ok." I returned it and bought this one for multiple reasons.
1) The keyboard is easier to type on. It is island-style, nearly full-sized, and all keys are easy to access and the keys themselves are really quite/soft. Very smooth and easy to type on. The Toshiba Mini had a more firm feel and the tab key was too small so I ended up typing "Q" whenever I needed to use tab. The HP Mini's keyboard is nearly perfect.
2) The trackpad is really responsive and does not have separate right/left click buttons, it is just merged into the trackpad. It looks sleek but can get annoying when I have to move the mouse and have my finger to left-click at the same time.
3) Amazing speed. It's a duo-core processor running 1.5 gHz. Simply put, it's way faster than any single core N455 processor. This is an N550 duo-core, it will run very smoothly and will hardly (if ever) experience any lag. The Toshiba Mini lagged quite often and froze frequently as well when I attempted to multitask. This HP Mini does not.
4) Looks awesome. It's thin and it's light.
5) Battery life is pretty great. On full charge I am looking at about 6 hours. It is a 6-cell lithium which SHOULD run 8 hours on full charge but I'm guessing the duo-core is sucking up more than what a single core will so that increased battery drain I expected. The Toshiba Mini went on 8 full hours just fine. This HP Mini will get around 5.5 hours before shutting down.
Overall, great product for the price. I wouldn't recommend any other netbook. It comes with Windows 7 Starter and runs quick with that, but I upgraded to Home Premium. It runs very well on that as well if you're looking into it. Starter is limited and not that great, so the upgrade is worth it.
