PowerLite S6 Multimedia Projector (V11H283420) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We have been using Epson PowerLite S5 for a while now, and it seems to be pretty good. We buy the new version S6 because it has USB support; however, the technical description did not bother point out the the USB display is for Window only while we use Mac. The product is still good, but we wish it has the support for Mac also.

InFocus X6 DLP Projector Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the picture from this projector. Being on the low-end price-wise I didn't expect the high-quality picture that it projected. I bought it for my 15-year old daughter to have movie parties with. It is also very simple to operate. The only downfall is that it only came with a cable to connect to a PC, but not a cable to connect to a DVD player (S-video to RCA) I had to order that separately since the stores (Radio Shack & Circuit City) do not carry it in stock.

InFocus IN26+ DLP Projector XGA 2400 Lu Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)There is one major thing that you need to do if you buy this product and that is upgrade to the latest firmware on the infocus website. The firmware that comes with it isn't nearly as good as the one they just released. Overall, for the money you can't go wrong with this projector. It has a decent resolution for a projector in the price range, and the 2200 lumens are more than enough. I keep mine on low power mode all the time and it still runs at 1700 lumens. There is nothing like watching movies on a 120' flat screen! I guess if there was a problem with this product it would be the noise. On low power mode it isn't really noticeable, but on high power, unless you have a movie with sound going, you are going to notice it. I personally love how much they have come down in price. This just last year would have cost me over 1200 dollars easy and now they're finally affordable. I recommend this product.

InFocus IN24 DLP Projector Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)So far this has been a good buy. I am Mark Tucker, the assistant pastor at Old Orchard Church in St. Louis, MO. This DP was a great find because it does exactly what we need it too. We don't need the extreme high definition images, but we want something that looks good and enlarges well. It does get a bit hot after 2 hours of straight use, but I am not sure that this is a problem. The price point was excellent for us as a small church, especially since I got it as an Open Box discount. I love the options and the keystone feature.

Optoma EP721 SVGA 2200-Lumens DLP Multimedia Data Projector Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I recently purchased a new Optoma EP721 projector on the recommendation of a colleague. It was very light weight and easily carried to my lectures. My colleague had given his Optoma projector to his son and purchase another brand projector to replace it. He found the other projector was twice the weight and did not notice any discernible difference in the images, so he purchased another Optoma projector. In the first test-run at a venue, I was extremely impressed with the brightness of the 2200-Lumens lamp, which was perfect for my presentations. The lecture venue was large enough to seat 60 guests for a luncheon.
I had read in other reviews that the yellow colors were not as bright as with some other brands. While I found this to be true, it was minimal and not obvious to the audience. The wonderful feature about digital presentations, is that one can compensate for color during the editing process of the images using software, such as Photoshop.
The set-up process was easily accomplished after I reviewed the instructions. After one try, I was confident that I could rely upon the Optoma projector integrated with my MAC laptop. Lastly, the Optoma EP 721 was extremely favorably priced and was about half the cost of the competition. As an example of my satisfaction with this projector, I purchased a second one for the organization that I chaired.

InFocus Work Big IN2102EP Projector Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I recently completed a procurement analysis in purchasing projectors for the office. For the value range between $400-$500, the InFocus Work Big IN2102EP Projector was a clearcut choice as the one to go with. Turned out to be true. The brightness is great even with the lights turned on during a presentation. In addition, the 2500 lumens can be had in only a very few projectors at this price range. The unit is a little bigger than desired, but it still is portable and relatively light. Easy to use/connect and a pleasure to look at. Solid choice for any kind of small office/business environment.

ViewSonic PJ513DB DLP Projector - 5.7 Lbs Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We built a small movie theater in our basement and wanted a projector that could provide a good projected picture. After extensive research we elected to go with the ViewSonic PJ513DB DLP Projector, and we wern't dissapointed. It has an outstanding picture and the HD performance is the ultimate. It has a bright picture that is easy to see even when there is light in the room. The only drawback is that there is no HDMI input port. In order to get the HD we had to purchase an adapter cord that converted the HD cables to SVGA (ordered it off Amazon.com, cost us $8.00 and some change shipping included). The projector has many automated features including auto source selection so when you tune anything HD it automatically switches to the SVGA port and back again. It also automatically formats the picture size. I can't say enough about it! We are thoroughly satisfied! This projector does just as good a job as other units that are 4x the price.
