(More customer reviews)I seriously looked at this all-in-one computer to replace my laptop. It has a really HUGE, breathtaking screen in person -- more like a flatscreen TV -- and a simple desktop without all the pre-loaded junk. I loved it. Staples had them for $699 and I think that's an excellent price for what you get. I talked with a technician at Staples about the Dell vs. the HP Touchsmart and he said these Dells were a bit slow and had some problems. So I went home and I also read some test reviews online and they said the same thing. Not what I wanted to hear because I was seriously loving that screen.
I opted for the HP Touchsmart instead and sure enough when I bought that computer there was a brand new Dell Inspiron all-in-one on the desk a tech was diagnosing for freeze up problems. Maybe that particular unit was a lemon -- I don't know. But it may be better to wait for the next generation on these.
