(More customer reviews)We received this unit a few days ago, and my husband put it together last night. He is experienced at assembling items like this. It was a lot of work, but everything was in good condition, every piece needed was there, and the instructions were very good. He's a bit sore today! But very, very pleased with the unit.
We needed the TV up high so that it would be above our handsome dog walking around the livingroom. We needed it to fit a corner. And we needed space for speakers, DVR, DVD and a few other things. Everything fit with room to spare.
The unit was well packed. One great surprise is that our remote controls work better now. The pieces are arranged so that nothing blocks anything else, and we were not able to arrange them NEARLY as well before receiving this unit.
A TV stand is a great idea! If this one fits your situation and you have someone who can put it together, it is terrific!

(More customer reviews)I just bought this Sanus unit for my black 46" HDTV and suround sound components. I bought the Espresso one and it is really just black, which is what I hoped for. Building the unit was not that hard. I really like the design and style while at the same time very much appreciate the functionality. The back of the unit is, for the most part, wide-open so you can easily connect wires. That has always been my pain. The front doors can be either glass panels or black veneer panels. The height of the unit is perfect to make my TV at my eye level. I'm pretty pleased with this purchase, but I did have a amazon credits $$ that brought the cost way down. I'm not sure I would have paid full price for this ($800-900).

Samsung UN19C4000 19-Inch 720p 60 Hz LED HDTV (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)Samsung quality.... Great picture. Fits the kitchen perfectly. Can't say I know difference between this and an LCD picture in the same size, but happy with the choice.
Caveats:
*Many reviews question sound quality on small TVs. I don't have a problem with it (it's the kitchen) and there are 4 settings to change the clarity. If listening to music, you would notice a lack of bass.
*Had been told you don't need HD on small sets, wouldn't make much difference in picture quality. Not so. Use it in HD, the standard cable feed was terrible. HD is wonderful.
*Many reviews rail about the lack of tilt on small TVs. This one is 90 degrees straight up and that's it.
*Need to watch from directly in front of it. Can't see it clearly from off on the side.
*Didn't realize it comes with picture-in-picture. To get it to work, however, I have to have a dvr recorder installed by my cable company. Will do eventually.

Techcraft CRE60B Credenza for 60-Inch Flat Panel Televisions Review

(More customer reviews)Just received this stand and put it together this week. I've been on the lookout for a great stand at a great price for a few months now and finally settled on this one after exhaustive researching. The price dropped to $265 + Free shipping and I just couldn't pass that up!
First things first, this baby weights A LOT! I still can't believe they shipped it for free. I was a little intimidated after opening the box and seeing all the parts. But after taking a deep breath, laying everything out nicely and browsing the instructions briefly it wasn't bad at all and everything made sense. I almost had a heart attack when I thought one of the support feet were missing but a quick check back into the box with tons of wrapping and foam to keep the parts safe and I found it. I didn't time myself but I'm thinking maybe a good 60 to 90 minutes putting this one together is about right. I love the color and finish on this. While it is black it almost has a dark brown feel about the color which is perfect for my setup. While some have made mention of the center area which isn't big enough for a normal/standard center channel it wasn't a problem for me. Even though mine would easily fit as I have the Sony HTIS-100 I chose to set it on top anyways. The two storage areas on either side aren't huge but they have adjustable shelves and are the right size for standard components and with the windows you shouldn't have any problems with the remotes. I'm at a point now where I don't feel the need to display all my components and would rather focus on the TV itself and this stand is perfect for that. It also sits at just the right height to accentuate viewing of my 52" Sony XBR9 whereas my last stand sat rather low. This one is perfect.
Overall I'm very impressed with this item. Great quality construction, fairly easy to put together, great price and incredibly good looks you really can't go wrong. I also liked that with the doors you have the capability to mount them on either side for opening depending on your setup. A real nice touch for flexibility. Overall I'm VERY happy with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone with a 42 to 55" TV. Thanks!

(More customer reviews)We bought this TV stand to place behind our media center and to keep our 46" TV out of our kids' reach. Its base is low enough to slide under the stand (the base is around 2" in height). It works well and the cable management system holes are large enough to place both our HDMI cables and a few wires through it. We do not use the included glass shelf because of the media stand.
Also, it can be tough to put together because of the paint on the screws. You definitely will need two people to put it together. One other word of warning if you intend to have the base seen, you should put a cloth over the base so if you drop a screw on it, you won't scratch. Finally, before buying the stand go to the Peerless web page to make sure that your TV is compatible with the stand.

Once all four screws are tightened the TV is secure. The glass shelf is adjustable and has a support beam to give the front of the shelf support, the rear of the shelf is supported with two "U" clamps for the glass and four pegs for the peg holes. I would recomend this stand to my friends and family.

(More customer reviews)We purchased this stand for an office setting for lack of a good wall to hang a 40" LCD TV on, and so that the screen would be movable depending on need. Assembly was a snap. The stand is very stable, more substantial than expected and moves very easily. The stand allows the TV to tilt left/right nicely. We use our screen with a computer attached so the attached shelf works nicely for a keyboard but would also hold a dvd player or similar.
I was a little hesitant because of the price but am very satisfied with the purchase.

Despite the many pieces, it had to be *the* easiest piece of furniture I have ever assembled. All the holes lined up, no holes were missing, no hardware missing, and the directions were crystal clear. I think my friend and I got it done within about 25 minutes.
This is also a very sturdy piece of furniture, not light and flimsy at all. It's classy and attractive, and if my furniture was black, I would buy this for me in a heartbeat!
