No complaints about functionality. Instructions were absurdly bad, specifically preventing proper assembly if followed exactly. Assembly was nothing too difficult to figure out once the instructions were discarded. Nice low price. Only comes with enough cage nuts/screws to mount a server or two.

Nice and small, but easy to work on. Has two 3.5 inch drive bays and 3 SATA ports. I use a dual 2.5 inch drive adapter in one bay, so I can use 2 laptop SSD drives and one 3.5 inch drive. I use an IDE CD/DVD burner to free up the extra SATA port. Mine came with a 250 watt power supply, which was noisier than I expected. Upgraded to a 300 watt power supply and it helped. The ICE cooling system is much better than I expected. It was easy to install on the processor and it works well. I got an OEM Phenom II X2 3.1ghz processor rated at 80w TDP that came with no heatsink or fan. The ICE cooling system did the trick. This system supports up to a 95w TDP processor, so I could have gone with a triple core. It has two 240 pin DDR2 slots. I added two PC2 6400 2gb memory modules for a total of 4gb. I thought about upgrading it to 8gb, but the 4gb DDR2 memory modules are kind of expensive. If you want 8gb of memory, I suggest finding another system that supports DDR3 memory instead. This system works just fine with 4gb though. I took away 1 star for the power supply noise and the DDR2 memory slots. Other than that, it's a nice budget AMD system.

Major quality control issue, one from amazon, one from frys and one from newegg of same model all result in some issue or another, from no outputs to usb keeps on disconnecting to faulty power supply.
Specs are as follows:
Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz 8M L3 Cache LGA1366 Desktop Processor
RADEON HD 5870 1GB DDR5 HDMI Graphics Card HD587XZNFC
3 x OCZ Technology OCZ DDR3 PC3-10666 1333MHz Memory Kit OCZ3G1333LV4G (12gb total)
OCZ Technology 60 GB Vertex 2 Series SATA II 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD22VTXE60G
Western Digital 2TB SATA Green Power eco-friendly Hard Drive WD20000CSRTL
Western Digital Scorpio Blue 500 GB Bulk/OEM Hard Drive 2.5 Inch, 8 MB Cache, 5400 RPM SATA II WD5000BEVT
Patriot Dual Bay 2.5" SATA 3.5" drive bay PC25S
ASUS Blu Ray Disc Writer (ODD BW-12B1LT)
fits perfectly, every component works and independently tested on another system. Total minimum system power required calculated to be 420W and Shuttle power supplies has been pretty good in terms of letting you overdraw intended amount in the past; PS's not the issue. When powered up, the fans rev up but that's about it, black monitor display, no beeps and lack of on board output display makes troubleshooting hard. Iteratively unplugging devices starting from bluray to slave hdd's then one stick of ram at a time result in same result of no screen output. Piss poor customer service doesnt help with matters either, straight from their website it states: NO DEFECT FOUND CHARGES:* If Shuttle determines that any returned product is not defective and does not require warranty repair. Shuttle has the right to bill for all shipping, handling, and processing cost attributes to the return of non-defective product.
before anyone suggest that it's power supply issue or graphics card issue, I'd like to say I've done this test with a 750W standard power supply outside the case and also tried 8600 gt card with same result. I'd say avoid at all cost. having 3 bad apples from 3 different merchants suggests that there's something really wrong with their quality control.
