(More customer reviews)I just installed my screen two days ago. Because of the size, I did need another person to help hold it. It took us less than 5 minutes to install it. The screen movement is very slow but still extended in less than a minute. The slow movement made it very easy for me to stop at the desired location. I am using a Mitsubishi HC1500 projector (HD). The picture is awesome and exceeds my expectations. I inquired about other screens at a nationally owned theater store. In order to get the same features as this screen (remote, trigger, etc), it was going to cost around $1000. The money that I saved is helping pay for all of the beer that my neighbors are now drinking while watching the games!
The shipment was quick and arrived defect free.
My only complaint is that it took me a lot of searching to figure out how to connect the trigger. The trigger function allows the screen to automatically drop/rise when the projector is powered on/off. The included trigger connects into the screen. In order to connect it into a trigger capable LCD projector, you only need to use two wires from a Cat 5 cable (the cable has to be purchased separately). Those two wires can be connected in to a 1/8" Mini Stereo Phone Plug (which can be purchased at a store that sells radio equipment).
Update on 8/11/09:
The trigger doesn't work 100% of the time. So I disconnected it and just leave the screen down. I do not have the screen mounted in a location where it needs to be up.
