(More customer reviews)I was contemplating to switching to Apple but I wanna try the windows 7 first before jumping the gun. So far, Windows 7 is great and this desktop is fast enough for the operating system. The design matches my place and I've been a Sony user all my life. So far now, I'm not converting to Apple yet. This item is great!

Compaq Presario CQ1-1130 All-in-One 18.5-Inch Desktop PC - Black Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I checked out this computer in the stores before I bought it, comparing it with other computers that rated about the same in Consumer Reports. This computer got the overall best buy rating. I found it for the best price on Amazon and ordered it. It came within 3 days, even though shipping was supposed to take 5. It was well packaged and arrived in great condition. I am very happy with my purchase.

Lenovo IdeaCenter A600 30114MU 21.5-Inch Full HD All-in-One Desktop Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Got this PC from Amazon about 1 month ago, promo price at 899. Good deal, but there are better alternatives. I should have considered the HP's first
Some Pros
- All in one,
-Easy setup, works out of the box
- slick keyboard, mouse, remote etc.
- nice camera and other features
- have not tried the Bluray player yet, but DVD's work great
- Media Center with TV option is excellent, plug right into the cable and you get all the basic's with recording capabilities
- Bluetooth functionality is great if you need it
- 1TB hard drive
Now for the considerations before you buy
- All in one, so not too easy to change accessories, parts etc
- Only 4G RAM, a bit limited
- Hard drive makes an annoying clicking, if you are recording with the included webcam you can actually capture the harddrive noise (very irritating)
- Limited Tilt on the monitor
- NO HDMI or other video in, cannot use this monitor with any other video source, stuck with the current setup
- it's big enough to take up your desktop

HP All-in-One MS235 Desktop PC - Black Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've had the machine for almost two weeks now an all seems fine. This is my third computer since 1997. One thing I especially like is the fact that it isn't loaded up with a bunch of programs I will never use. It's running Windows 7 Premium which is the fastest Windows OS I think so far. 4GB of memory is amazing to me since my last computer only was 500 MB, and the one before that was 32 MB of memory. I paid $542.41 so the fact that it has gone up in price means people are buying it. Even $600 would be good considering it takes up so much less space. Several years ago I saw an Apple that was an All-In-One and I new PC would soon follow. This computer comes with all you need, Microsoft Office and several introductory programs for business. I'm sure NASA could use it to launch rockets, so the hard core computer geeks should like it also. Dollar for dollar, this is a good buy from a good computer manufacturer. The monitor displays images very sharp, clear and with excellent color. All-In-One computers are the future.
