(More customer reviews)This is a fantastic gaming notebook from MSI. It plays everygame I have from crysis to bad company 2 at maxed resolution (1680x1050) and 4x AA 8xAF. It does exhaust hot air when gaming, but the design of the exhaust system is very well designed. It consists of two exhaust ports, in the right corner, one on the back and one on the right, making a tunnel, if you will, to provide superior heat dispersion. The build of this notebook is very solid, the keys are my favorite part, I'm actually typing on them right now, they have a stiff but very sensitive feel to them, and unlike most laptops, they are not glossy, nor get "slimy" after an hr of typing or gaming, due to sweat like those other cheapy shiny keyboards found in most laptops. The sound is very impressive too, you can easily hear every word in a movie, and the sound on this laptop I have noticed, compared to most, is louder, and oh, it has a built in subwoofer. The price is kinda high, but considering you are getting an Intel i7 with an Ati 5870, it's a great package, even a steal compared to what Asus is charging for the same setup. Now, I will admit, yes, the resolution is only 1680x1050, and not 1920x1080, but for gaming, it puts less stress on the gaming card running at 1680, which means more leg room for maxing out your anti-aliasing, and your anistropic filtering and shadow detail, which for me personally, I rather play with a perfect maxed out 1680, instead of medium setting with 1920. Maxed out graphics in a 1920 resolution, is best made for a laptop with crossfire or sli (two video cards). So, that is my review, and I hope it helps.
