(More customer reviews)I was in need of a reliable controller for my insteon devices I purchased. This unit does the job and more. I can use IR to control lights, and other devices. Also, the program functions are easy to setup for automated control. There are other "modules" that can be purchased that add extended functionality. One of them is a weather module which you can use in your programs. The unit can text or email you when a program event is triggered. One note, you will need the insteon serial PLM module to operate the insteon devices. Once you get some automation running you wont want to live without it!
