(More customer reviews)I had to RMA the first sticks because they couldn't pass memtest. Customer service (email) was ok and the RMA replacements are now up and running however not at specified speeds. I thought the memory to be poorly packaged for shipping as there was only a small layer of bubble wrap surrounding the plastic cover. The first set I received (and rma'd) were actually slightly bent due to USPS handling and the lack of a box. No heat-spreaders are attached or included so if you're worried about temperatures you may want to invest.
I do not recommend this memory to beginners! It is very touchy and often would not post unless the exact timings were right, IE with 1600 & Cas 8 my board would not post. You should know how to reset cmos and hopefully have something like Asus's MemOK on board to post the sticks.

8-8-8-24 1333 2T @ 1.51v (completed 1 full pass in MeMtest v4.1 with no errors) is the best I have been able manage after 4 hours of testing. 1600 created errors with cas 8 & 9 and I didn't want to bother w/ anything higher. The memory modules themselves are Hynix; looked mine up and the mods are rated for 1333.
After all is said and done I am happy with the purchase however would not recommend to any but my tech savvy friends needing to save a buck.
3 stars because the mem is working and i'm happy enough with 1333 cas 8. They lost 2 stars due to the poor packing, the needed RMA and for failing to notify me of the replacement shipment & it's tracking detail. I had to ask for it and as it turned out it arrived the same day I asked.

While at first glance, it may be in your best interest to shop around, know that when you purchase RAM from Komputerbay, you're getting Grade-A brand name computer memory. Cheap computer memory while possibly being compatible - can cause system crashes, error codes in your computer and even damage your motherboard!Other sellers may offer you similar looking products for a few cents or a dollar less, but here's the scoop on why:They sell cheap-grade memory and they don't test the modules before shipping!
