(More customer reviews)I bought this hard drive couple of years ago and it has never missed a beat. It is still running just as good and efficent as the first day I installed it.. This hard drive is by far the best I have had so far anyhow. Maxtor products have never failed me, I also have another one but it is a 160 gb and I've had it longer than the 500 gb and neither one have ever given me one ounce of problems. If they both went up in smoke today I couldn't complain because I have gotten more than my moneys worth out of these maxtor products. I am a completely satisfied customer!
