(More customer reviews)The 6200 is an old printer. Obvious question: Repair with relatively expensive item (imaging unit) or replace? Chose to repair. Mistake.
Decided to save some money by buying elsewhere (see Above). Another mistake.
Unit has 4 protective tapes (similar to those on toner units). One tore while being removed, leaving inaccesible stub inside unit. Seller's return policy is that it will NOT accept imaging units for return.
Tried to reinstall old unit, until I could find out whether Xerox could do anything about tape that snagged or otherwise could not be removed properly. Error message when reinstalled old unit.
Some online research indicates that a common problem with 6200 and 6250 printers (others?) is something called a V-rack; when the imaging unit is removed and reinstalled, that often needs adjustment. THAT requires partial disassembly of the printer, to access the V-rack.
So before deciding to buy, thinking that replacement of the imaging unit is a simple task, ask yourself whether you are willing to risk the need for partial disassembly of the printer (or the need to pay for a service call by a technician).
UPDATE:
Xerox was great about sending replacement part, with express shipping, at no extra charge. Disassembly for adjusting V-rack was not too much of a project, but only because I found good directions on-line - easily could be a problem without good directions and sufficient care in making adjustment. Printer works like new. BUT, the possible if not probable need to adjust V-rack needs to be considered as part of replacement process.
