(More customer reviews)Just got this over-nighted to me to fix a customer's problem where it wasn't spec'd that a cable needed to be VGA for a laptop. I installed a DVI cable. Oops. This was a lifesaver. It worked right out of the box with no tweaking needed. Usually that's not the case with most scalers I've used. Scaling quality is very good for this price range. Gefen may be expensive but if it has to be done right they do beat out generic products that claim to do the same job. I've been burned by those before.
