(More customer reviews)This is an expensive scanner, but worth every penny. I highly recommend buying the Win500 software, which really simplifies programming.
Very sensitive receiver, pretty good filtering also. GRE has a long history of top rated scanners, this one is their best to date.
Read the specs, does almost everything. I'm using it on conventional, EDACS, Motorola, and digital trunked frequencies. Nothing but grins.

(More customer reviews)I own an I.T. company and have installed many of these in Medical Offices. The Plustek D28 has been a great scanner for us. They are easy to use yet very functional. I have experienced no reliability issues at all. for us; they make a low cost option for small offices going paperless. They will do documents as well as insurance or drivers license cards. I have purchased many of these and expect I'll be buying many more.
