(More customer reviews)I have been using "wired" headsets for years, so this was the first time to use a wireless one. I have always liked the features of a headset, but didn't like being tied to one while on a long call.
This headset has all the features I wanted, plus it allows me to use it on my computer and to also tie into my cell phone through BlueTooth technology. this allows me to answer 3 different phones with the same headset.
It is also the quietest and one of the most comfortable ones I have worn in years. Plus, you do not get any intereference from other devices (like cell phones) so it makes it a pleasure to wear and walk around the house with. I have been through the entire house with it, and it hasn't faded or caused static.
The only compalint about this was the picture on the web site. It shows it as a monorial type headset when in fact it was a binaural.
I linked this to a new two-line phone and it has worked flawlessly up to this point.

Sennheiser BW 900 Lightweight Wireless Bluetooth Headset for Phone/Mobile Review

(More customer reviews)This unit has some features that are superior to others I looked at.
1)The size.
The mouth piece is actually near to your mouth. I am able to talk at a normal volume and the sound level and quality of sound on the other is great. I have had other head sets with a smaller foot print where this is not the case at all. Even though this headset is not ugly is does not have the 'cool' factor that some of the smaller sets semm to go after. If function is more important to you than form, this is your headset.
2)Works with both the office phone and cell phone.
And does a great job with both. I still have to stop and concentrate when I move from one phone to the other but I'm getting near the end of the learning curve. I LOVE eliminating one device. I spend 30-40% of my week out of the office. Wireless in the office is so helpful no closeing the headset wire in drawers or getting it burried under files. With its extened range any multi tasker will increase their productivity.
3) Comfort
The head set is very comfortable. For me to say that is rare. I have never been able to stand "ear buds". Any head set that offers interchangeable earpieces has not used my ear for the mold. This speaker rests against not in your ear and works beautifully. I actually do forget I have it on.
4)Desktop charging ststion.
I handle lot of files & misc projects on my desk. I've destroyed at least 4 wired headsets. When looking for a wireless hesd set, most seem to hae a weak footprint, that I know would always be subject to being knocked over. The Sennheiser is completely stable. This part of the unit has an "office cool" factor to it. It looks, functions and feels like quality
For any one in business the productivity enhansement of this headset justifies the price.
Misc. The noise cancellation feature works great. I have been driving and had the person on the other end of the call asked if I wase still there because of the slience. I never set up the voice dialing feature on my cell phone. When I paired the Bw900 it woke up the feature and I use it all the time now. My previous Jabra headset did not do this. Battery life is better than my cell phone. Never the less I plan to order a apare battery because I would hate to be with out this head set after a day in the field because of the battery and the base station has a charging slot for the spare.

(More customer reviews)For those of you shopping for just a bluetooth headset, there may be a bit of sticker shock. But there's more here than meets the eye.
First of all, this is a long-range, cordless headset for a business phone. For comparison, its on par with the GN 9350 series with a range of 100ft when used with the base connected to your office phone (NOT Bluetooth). For remote-answering, you may also want to check out a GN1000 lifter or an electronic hookswitch (EHS) for your make/model phone system. These types of headsets are usually around $200 for decent models with noise-cancellation.
Then throw Bluetooth into the mix. With a tap on the screen, or holding the earpiece button for a few seconds, the Bluetooth mode is engaged. Note that Bluetooth has a range of 80ft or less, so this is more limited at the workplace. But now you have the same headset working with your cellphone or laptop (provided they have BT capability).
So you're at work using this headset with your main phone, and your cellphone rings. Click over to BT mode and answer it. Or you have a call on Skype, voice-messenger, etc., so switch over to PC and start talking. Most office folks have two or three headsets for these functions. This one handles it all in style.
We use them for people who work from home frequently and/or need to be mobile while at the office. Hands-free without switching earpieces all day long.
