(More customer reviews)I'm an apple macintosh user, and stand by apple products all the way. I very seriously considered getting an Apple 17" studio display, but the cost is a little out of my league. After careful research on the net and checking it out in store, I decided on this NEC LCD1765. The style is retro and slick (one of my favorite stylistic devices is the blocky gameboy style gradient fade on the frame around the actual display), but more importantly the display quality is SUPERB! this looks as good to me as the apple LCDs (which i use every day at work)... Negative points: Funky button layout... may require a few "auto adjusts" to properly lock a crystal clear picture (but once this is done it doenst need to be done again unless you change the settings). Lack of DVI input. Once the picture is clear tho it is CRYSTAL clear, even with the lack of DVI. I can't really tell the difference. Good deal for the money! Sony style, apple quality, NEC logo on the front!
