(More customer reviews)To some this printer might seem to be overkill for a home office but sometimes it comes down to a lack of options. Most of the consumer printers I looked at were multifunctin and I just need high quality printing with color. Most of the consumer printers have thier technology in the print cartridges so looking at the cost of replacing all the cartridges at one time and you could buy a new printer. That what I was faced with on my existing HP printer These cartridges are not cheap either but are high volume.
Amazing print quality, high speed, works with Windows 7. Thought I was being smart by downloading the latest Drivers/software from Epson. Bad idea. the print monitor doesn't work in the downloaded version. Use what comes on the CD with the printer and the install is no problem.
I did buy directly from epson the print duplexer for double-sided printing. Worth the approx $150 to save on paper and be green. You must remember to enable it though on each print job but works great.
