1. Bloatware. Not as bad as HP or Dell, but still a problem. Took about 30mins to remove it or stop it from beginning at startup.
2. Fairly short battery-life. It will last about 3 to 4 hours, depending on use.
3. No discrete graphics (this is a pro for some, like myself, because lack of dedicated graphics improves battery life, but you will not be able to play 3D games and such)
4. Poor multi-touch track-pad. Very limited implementation of gestures.
5. Fairly poor viewing angle, and fairly reflective screen. Screen is fine indoors, but outdoors you will need to turn brightness on max to see the screen.Now what makes this laptop good:
1. Build quality. It feels very solid, with ample use of aluminum. It feels like it can deal with a lot of abuse.
2. It looks awesome, but this computer bit of a fingerprint magnet (not too bad).
3. Powerful for general purpose use, but not gaming. Especially good if you have to do CPU-heavy tasks on-the-go such as AutoCAD.
4. Great keyboard, really top notch.
5. Some of the built in apps, like port-locker, seem useful.
6. Textured track-pad is easy to use and very precise.
7. Good screen quality.
8. Excellent speaker quality (for a laptop)
9. Finger-print scanner. Makes loging-in that much easier, especially when you workplace requires long passwords.
10. Stays cool on the lap. Won't render you sterile.Overall the two best aspects of this laptop are the build-quality, style and keyboard.Final thoughts: Great laptop for small business or college. Great for any sort of office work, but not a multimedia center. It is fairly heavy, but weighs less than similarly built laptops (HP Elitebook, Dell Vostro). If you are looking for a laptop for entertainment (e.g. gaming/multi-media), look elsewhere. If you need a laptop for mobile office that is durable and powerful, you have found it.
