(More customer reviews)this is actually my second Samsung NP150, having bought the red/white for my daughter 3 months earlier.
Samsung made some changes, the DRAM is actually DDR3 now which is supposed to be slightly faster and less power hungry than DDR2 variety. My daughter's was DDR2, but I didn't notice any signficant difference in battery time, though I haven't exactly tested side-by-side either.
Very good overall build quality but I felt that the red/white had slightly higher grade plastic. The keys are good-sized and provides very good tactile feel, but I prefer the keyboard on the HP netbook better. Small nitpick here.
These are actually very good performers. My recommendation would be to remove the Norton AntiVirus software and instead run the Microsoft Security Essentials. In my opinion, the Norton AntiVirus got to be one of the worst piece of software ever written. The Microsoft Security Essentials is much easier to use and very efficient. And it's free.
The second recommendation would be to upgrade to 2GB DRAM. You can get by with 1GB but with 2GB, everything is smoother and faster. The battery is awesome, more than 7 hours, still have life left over.
All in all, if you are looking for a netbook, this is an excellent choice over some lesser brands.
